1)What is Wigo?
WIGO is a Portable Broadband Wireless Internet service powered by your preferred Internet Service Provider.
2) Does it have to be always connected to the electricity to work?
No, once the built in battery is charged you can still use it even when the power goes out.
3) How long does the battery last?
The Battery lasts for about 2 hours.
4) Can I hook it to an external antenna to get better signal?
Yes you can.
5) Does the unit come with an external antenna?
No, the external Antenna is sold separately but it’s not currently available.
6) Does it need a phone line to work?
No, it is wireless and doesn’t need a phone line.
7) Where can I use it?
You can use the WIGO UNIT anywhere within our area of coverage.
8) Where can I find a coverage map?
Currently the following are is covered:

9) How do I change my service plan?
You can upgrade or downgrade your service plan by simply buying the refill of the service that you wish to use.
10) How do I reboot the wireless broadband modem (when the power does not respond)?
Press the button on the front of the modem for 2 seconds.
11) How will I know when to upgrade my Wigo unit?
Using the WIGO Dialer, establish a connection to the internet. On the Wireless Broadband Modem Dialer change to the Tools tab, and press the button labeled "Check WWW for Software Upgrade". This will automatically check to see if there is a newer version of software and if one is available, it will be automatically downloaded to the computer.
12) How do I perform a Wigo unit upgrade?
Having used the WIGO Dialer to obtain any new software available for the upgrade of the Modem, disconnect the current internet connection. The button "Upgrade Modem" should now be highlighted. Pressing this Upgrade Modem button will start the download of the new software to Modem and the progress of the download will be displayed on the progress bar. This may take a number of minutes to complete (longer for Serial cable connections).
13) How do I install my Wigo unit on a different computer?
If you have already installed your modem on ONE PC and wish to use it on a SECOND PC or laptop, insert the Installation CD into the second PC and run the installation software. You will automatically connect to the registration web pages. Select 'Support Services';. You may modify your settings here, if needed. If you leave all fields unchanged and click'Apply', the username/password cookie will access your second PC and the dialer will automatically configure the modem.
14) When should I uninstall the Wigo unit and/or pc software?
You should uninstall the Modem and PC software only when you wish to discontinue service.
15) How long is the warranty period for Wigo modems?
It is 90 days warranty period. 16) Can I use my own Wigo account while using my friend's Wigo modem?
No you cannot.
17) Which operating systems does the Wigo system support?
All.
18) Can I share my Wigo connection with others?
Only if you have wireless router.
